What a wonderful experience in Egypt. I had no preconceived notions of Egypt or what I would experience. I left the country feeling totally cared for and thoroughly educated. First rate hotels, excellent meals, knowledgeable on the ground tour guide and a group experience with interested travelers willing to learn. Upon returning home I immediately signed up for another trip with Unfiltered and Fed to Vietnam.

If you are contemplating joining one of Anela's "Unfiltered & Fed" experiences, I'm here to tell you to just do it! The Morocco North trip was an unforgettable experience. From the time I touched down in Tangier, to the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen and its many cats, to Fes with loads of shopping, to celebrating the last night in Marrakesh, I felt welcomed and connected to the group. Brahim and the tour guides chosen for each city shared their passion for the history and culture of their respective cities. I learned so much about the country. Anela did an amazing job of selecting wear we stayed. I really appreciated staying in riads. It put the group right in the action and life of the medinas. Again, I can't say enough about booking with Anela. You will not regret it! I look forward to joining another trip soon!

In a word, AMAZING...... When I booked this trip 9 months ago, it felt crazy. Going on a trip in a country that I had never been to, with people I didn't know curated by a woman that I followed on IG seemed like a recipe for DISASTER. I just got back 2 days ago, and I'm still in awe!! Morocco was BEAUTIFUL - the country, the people, the FOOD... everything! I came home with memories that I will have for a lifetime and a new group of friends. Anela's curation of this trip was top-tier, from the accommodations to the experiences. Whether it was visiting a women's cooperative where they made handmade rugs or dinner in a Moroccan family's home, EVERYTHING was intentional. This trip was everything that I needed. I left not just seeing Morocco, but experiencing it, and I plan to do it again. Next time a new place to discover and new friends to meet. My first time to Egypt but hopefully not my last and Egypt owes me nothing! I had a time with good people and great food. From the hospitality of the guys who met us at the airport and made getting our visas and through customs with ease. To our wonderful tour guide Mohsen who was not only a wealth of knowledge but made sure we found all the things we came to Egypt for and even some things we didn’t know we wanted or needed 😜. I loved all the experiences we got to share with the local families definitely a highlight on the trip. Also days cruising down the Nile was another highlight. Imagine sailing seeing nature as far as the eye could see and just relaxing your shoulders just a bit and breathing a bit deeper as you further bond with your travel family. I never know what to expect on each trip as it is different but always come back home with a new group of lifelong friends who we can’t wait till one of Anela’s next trips. This itinerary was packed as Egypt has so much to see and do but the boat was a nice reset to help us finish the trip out strong.
